The Hybrid Learning Model

Day (9 AM - 5 PM)

Practical Work Experience & Corporate Mentorship at an assigned IT Partner (e.g., Fusemachines, Leapfrog, Cedar Gate).

Evening (After 6 PM)

Online Theoretical & Technical Lectures via Nepal Open University.

Year 2: Specialization Core & System Architecture

Students branch into their selected track while acting as functional Junior Engineers.

  • Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)
  • Database Management Systems (DBMS) & SQL
  • Computer Networks & Operating Systems

Industry Practicum(Daytime in-company)

  • Writing clean, production-ready code under senior code-reviews.
  • Participation in internal company standups and minor feature shipments.

Year 3: Advanced Tracks & Scale

Focus shifts to scalability, optimization, and complex problem-solving.

Academic Courses(Online after 6 PM)

  • System Design & Software Architecture
  • Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
  • Project Management & Tech Ethics

Industry Practicum(Daytime in-company)

  • Mid-level engineering responsibilities.
  • Contributing directly to client-facing deployments or internal framework optimization.

Year 4: Capstone Project & Corporate Leadership

The culmination of the degree, preparing students for immediate mid-to-senior transitions upon graduation.

Industry Practicum(Daytime in-company)

  • Major Capstone Project: A year-long, production-grade deployment solving a real business problem for the host employer, co-evaluated by NOU Professors and the company CTO.
